Beitar Jerusalem Strengthens Midfield with Alexis Serrano Signing

Beitar Jerusalem has officially signed midfielder Alexis Serrano, who will bolster the team's midfield alongside Almog Cohen for the upcoming season. The team typically operates in a 4-3-3 formation, requiring midfielders to press high and support forwards Yarden Shua and Omer Atzili. While Shua played in midfield last season, he has seen less action in that role under coach Cohen.

Serrano is an '8' midfielder capable of contributing offensively and is expected to compete for a starting spot in the advanced midfield position against Tomer Yosefi. Boris, who can play both defensive and slightly advanced midfield roles, is considered a guaranteed starter, with his specific position adjusting based on the third midfielder. Luka Gadriani, who has played defensive midfield earlier in his career, is currently deployed as a center-back.
