Beitar Jerusalem Optimistic About Alexis Serna Transfer Deal Today
Beitar Jerusalem's legal representatives spent a long night negotiating with Independiente Medellín, but as of Thursday morning, two clauses in the transfer agreement for Alexis Serna remain unsettled. The Israeli club is hopeful that the Colombian side will agree to the terms today, allowing the deal to be finalized.
The player's Colombian agent stated that Serna is eager to join Beitar Jerusalem and is awaiting confirmation of the agreement between the clubs. He indicated that minor details are expected to be resolved today, paving the way for Serna's move to Israel. It was also clarified that Serna's height is 1.84 meters, not 1.70 meters as previously reported.
Barring any last-minute issues, Serna is expected to arrive in Israel for medical tests and to sign his contract. The midfielder has not played since June, and Beitar Jerusalem believes the upcoming international break will be beneficial for him to integrate physically and mentally with the team.
