Beitar Jerusalem Makes $450,000 Offer for Alexis Serna
Beitar Jerusalem has submitted a purchase offer of 450,000 euros for midfielder Alexis Serna, aged 28, after his loan option was rejected by Independiente Medellín. The Israeli club also proposed leaving a percentage of the player's rights with the Colombian team. Beitar Jerusalem has also presented a loan offer with an option to buy at higher figures.
The Colombian club is expected to provide a final answer within 24 hours. Beitar aims to sign two players before the transfer window closes, with Serna being a primary target.
If the deal for Serna falls through, Beitar might pursue Yarin Levy. However, this would likely require Beitar to offer a significant player in a trade deal to Maccabi Haifa, in addition to a monetary sum. Maccabi Haifa has stated they will not discuss Levy without receiving another player in return. Hapoel Be'er Sheva has also expressed interest in Levy and could potentially enter negotiations with Maccabi Haifa by offering players.
