Beitar Jerusalem remains determined to sign Colombian midfielder Alexis Serna from Independiente Medellín, despite the club's reluctance to part with the player. Following a recent defeat to Hapoel Tel Aviv, Beitar's management, led by Almog Cohen, is focused on strengthening the squad, with Serna identified as the top target for the midfield.
According to Colombian media reports, Medellín is insisting on keeping Serna. However, Beitar Jerusalem has presented a transfer proposal and hopes to bridge the financial gap to secure the 28-year-old player, whom the club highly desires. Serna, who stands at 1.70 meters tall, recorded 25 appearances, 3 goals, and 2 assists last season. He has a contract with Independiente Medellín running until the end of 2027.
