New Party Led by Ofer Winter Nears Knesset Threshold in Poll

A new poll released by the Walla news portal on Wednesday, September 9, indicates that Ofer Winter's "Yashar" party is nearing the electoral threshold for the Knesset, securing 3.5% of the vote. If elections were held today, "Yashar" would be the largest faction with 25 seats, while the "Likud" party would receive 21 seats. The "B'Yachad" bloc is projected to win 14 seats. "Yisrael Beiteinu" and "Democratim" are each expected to gain nine seats. "Otzma Yehudit," Shas, "Yahadut HaTorah," and the "United Arab List" are each polling at seven seats. "Ra'am" and "Zionut Datit-Zeut" are projected to receive five seats, and "Amcha Yisrael" four seats. Parties such as "Miluimnikim" (2.8%) and "Blue and White" (0.9%) would fall short of the electoral barrier. The poll also shows the Zionist opposition bloc leading with 57 mandates compared to the coalition bloc's 51 mandates, with Arab parties collectively securing 12 mandates.
