New Poll Shows Ofer Winter's Party Surpassing Threshold, Affecting Other Factions
A new poll released following the deadline for party list submissions indicates a significant shift in the political landscape. Ofer Winter's "Am Israel" party has crossed the electoral threshold, securing at least four Knesset seats. This development boosts the bloc supporting Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to 51 seats. Conversely, the "HaBayit HaYehudi" party, led by Yoaz Hendel and Ze'ev Elkin, failed to pass the threshold, receiving only 2.8% of the vote.
The poll places Gadi Eisenkot's "Yashar!" party as the largest faction with 25 seats. The Likud party, led by Netanyahu, shows an increase to 21 seats, followed by Naftali Bennett's "Achva" with 14 seats. Avigdor Lieberman's Yisrael Beiteinu and Yair Golan's Democrats each garnered 9 seats.
Other parties crossing the threshold include Otzma Yehudit, Yahadut HaTorah, Shas, and the Hadash-Ta'al-Balad joint list, each with 7 seats. Bezalel Smotrich and Moshe Feiglin's "Religious Zionism and Identity" list received 5 seats, as did Mansour Abbas's Ra'am.
Several parties fell short of the 3.25% electoral threshold. Besides Hendel and Elkin's party, Rabbi Abergil's Achi party received 1.1%, Benny Gantz's National Unity party received 0.9%, and the Haredi public and Noam L'Yisrael parties received 0.2% each.
