Macklemore Repeats 'Free Palestine' Call at Ed Sheeran Concert

Rapper Macklemore returned to the stage as a warm-up act for Ed Sheeran in New Jersey on Saturday, repeating his controversial "Free Palestine" message and performing his song "Hind's Hall." This occurred a day after his initial pro-Palestinian statements and performance of the song, which accuses Israel of apartheid and genocide, sparked anger among Israeli and Jewish attendees at the previous night's concert.

Attendees who were present on the first night reported feeling disturbed by the political messages, stating they had purchased tickets to see Ed Sheeran and were unaware the opening act would feature strong anti-Israel sentiments. Some described the performance as aggressive, noting that the song's lyrics were displayed on screen alongside images of IDF soldiers and pro-Palestinian propaganda, drawing applause from parts of the audience while others left.
