Hezbollah Launches Explosive Drones at IDF Troops; Air Force Strikes Lebanon
Hezbollah militants launched two explosive drones toward Israeli forces operating in southern Lebanon on Sunday morning. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) identified the drones and opened fire on one, successfully downing it. No Israeli soldiers were harmed in the incident.
The IDF described the drone launch as a "blatant violation by the Hezbollah terrorist organization." In response, the Israeli military announced it was striking targets in southern Lebanon shortly after the attack.
The IDF stated that its forces will continue to operate in the security zone to neutralize threats to Israel and its soldiers, vowing to act forcefully against any attempts by Hezbollah to harm its troops.
