Hezbollah Drones Attack IDF Troops; Israel Strikes Southern Lebanon
Hezbollah terrorists launched two explosive-laden drones toward Israeli forces operating in the security zone of southern Lebanon on Tuesday morning, the IDF spokesperson announced. Israeli soldiers fired at one of the drones and successfully intercepted it, with no casualties reported among the troops. The IDF characterized the incident as a "blatant violation" by Hezbollah and stated that the Israeli Air Force was retaliating with strikes in southern Lebanon.
Concurrently, an evacuation warning was issued for residents of a building and nearby structures in the village of Arab Salim. The IDF identified this location as being adjacent to a Hezbollah terror facility slated for attack. Reports from Lebanon also indicated Israeli strikes in the areas of Nabatieh al-Fawqa and the village of Rouman.
