IDF Strikes Lebanon After Hezbollah Drone Attack

Hezbollah launched two attack drones towards Israeli soldiers in southern Lebanon on Sunday morning, September 6. The Israeli military (IDF) reported that soldiers intercepted one of the drones, and there were no casualties among Israeli forces. The IDF described the drone launch as a "gross violation" and stated that it was responding with strikes on targets in southern Lebanon. Lebanese sources reported that Israeli Air Force aircraft targeted areas near Nabatieh in southern Lebanon. The IDF emphasized its commitment to operating in the security zone to neutralize threats to soldiers and Israeli citizens, vowing a strong response to any further Hezbollah attacks. The military also affirmed its intention to continue operations in the security zone to eliminate threats to soldiers and citizens of Israel and will react harshly to repeated attempts by Hezbollah to attack Israeli forces.
