Hezbollah Drone Attack Foiled; IDF Strikes Targets in Southern Lebanon
Hezbollah launched two explosive-laden drones towards Israeli forces operating in the Ali Taher ridge area overnight. Israeli soldiers fired at one of the drones, successfully intercepting it, according to the IDF spokesperson. No Israeli soldiers were harmed in the incident.
In response to the drone attack, the IDF conducted strikes against Hezbollah infrastructure in the Nabatieh region of southern Lebanon. The targeted infrastructure was reportedly used by the organization's operatives for planning and directing terror attacks against IDF forces and Israeli civilians. The IDF stated these strikes were carried out to neutralize an immediate threat.
