Drone Infiltrates Israel From Lebanon for First Time Since June

An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) crossed from Lebanon into Israeli territory early Wednesday morning, marking the first such infiltration since June. The drone entered the area known as the Finger of the Galilee.

Air raid sirens were activated in several communities, including Kfar Yuval, Ma'ayan Baruch, and Hagosherim, following the incursion. Additional alerts sounded in Dafna and Hagosherim due to interception attempts. The Home Front Command announced the incident concluded and that the IDF is examining the results of the interception efforts.

The first alert sounded at 4:24 AM in Kfar Yuval and Ma'ayan Baruch, followed by Hagosherim a minute later. At 4:26 AM, alerts for rocket and missile fire were activated in Dafna and Hagosherim, with a 15-second defense time. Approximately fifteen minutes later, the Home Front Command declared the event over, advising residents in protected areas to exit.

Concurrently, reports from Lebanon indicated Israeli airstrikes in the Al-Taher area in southern Lebanon. The Upper Galilee Regional Council stated there was no change in the situation assessment or public directives, and that school activities and transportation would proceed as normal.
