Enemy Drone Enters Israel's Galilee Finger; Interception Attempts Made
Air raid sirens sounded in the Galilee Finger region of northern Israel early Wednesday morning after an enemy aircraft crossed from Lebanon. The IDF stated that several interception attempts were made, the results of which are still under review. No casualties were reported.
The alerts were activated at 4:24 AM in the communities of Dafna, HaGoshrim, Kfar Yuval, and Ma'ayan Baruch, following the drone's incursion into Israeli territory. This marks the first time since June that alerts have been triggered in the Galilee Finger due to a drone crossing from Lebanon.
Following the drone's incursion, the IDF reportedly attacked targets in the village of Rmeish in southern Lebanon, according to Lebanese media outlet Al-Manar, which is affiliated with Hezbollah. The report indicated that the strikes were carried out by the Israeli Air Force.
