Drone Crosses From Lebanon Into Israel for First Time Since June

An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) crossed from Lebanon into Israeli territory early Wednesday morning, marking the first such incursion since June. Air raid sirens were activated in the "Finger of the Galilee" region, including the villages of Yuval, Ma'ayan Baruch, and Hagoshrim, due to the drone's entry. Subsequently, sirens for rocket and missile fire sounded in Dafna and Hagoshrim, reportedly as a result of interception attempts by the Israeli military. The IDF is currently investigating the precise details of the incident, including whether the drone was successfully intercepted. Hezbollah has been known to utilize night-vision equipped drones. Following the alerts in Israel, reports emerged from Lebanon of Israeli airstrikes in the Al-Taher area in the southern part of the country. The Home Front Command declared the incident over approximately 15 minutes after the initial alerts, advising residents in the affected areas to leave protected spaces.
