Hezbollah Launches Explosive Drones at IDF Forces in Southern Lebanon, IDF Responds

During the night of Thursday, Hezbollah fired two explosive drones toward Israel Defense Forces (IDF) troops operating near the Ali Taher ridge in the security zone of southern Lebanon. According to an IDF spokesperson, the soldiers detected the drones, shot at them, and successfully downed one. Contact was lost with the second drone. No IDF personnel were injured in the incident.

Following the attack, the IDF emphasized that it will not allow Hezbollah to carry out hostile actions against its forces in the southern Lebanon security zone. The military stated, "The IDF is currently acting and will continue to act forcefully against repeated attempts to harm IDF forces." The incident underscores ongoing tensions along the Israel-Lebanon border and the IDF's commitment to maintaining security in the area.
