Israel's Defense Minister Threatens Unprecedented Response to Iranian Attack
Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz declared that any Iranian attack on Israel would free the country from all constraints, vowing to strike Iranian infrastructure, including energy facilities. Katz stated that indications suggest intense economic pressures and fears of internal protests might push Tehran towards "desperate measures."
"Any Iranian attack on Israel will free us from all constraints, and we will strike all infrastructure, including energy infrastructure, and return Iran to the Stone Age and darkness," Katz warned.
Earlier, Iran had cautioned the United States of a strong response if Israel were to attack the Al-Taher highlands in southern Lebanon, where Iranian military personnel and Hezbollah elements are reportedly stationed, according to Reuters citing three officials.
