צוותי כיבוי והצלה ימיים פועלים מזה שעות בחיפוש אחר אדם שנעדר מאז אתמול (חמישי) בחוף הים בחיפה. לדברי קאיד דאהר, הדובר הרשמי לתקשורת הערבית ברשות הכבאות וההצלה, הצוותים פועלים במספר מסלולים, בשיתוף פעולה עם גורמים נוספים, ומשתמשים בסירות גומי ובציוד לחיפוש בשעות הלילה.

החיפושים החלו לאחר שהאיש נכנס למים ונעלמו עקבותיו. הרשויות ממשיכות במאמצים לאתרו למרות הקושי, ונעשה שימוש באמצעים טכנולוגיים כדי להרחיב את שטח החיפוש. עד כה לא דווח על התקדמות משמעותית במציאתו.
