Young Man Missing After Entering Haifa Sea; Extensive Search Underway

Police and rescue forces have been conducting extensive searches since last night for a man in his 20s who entered the water at Students' Beach in Haifa yesterday afternoon and has not been seen since. The search operations involve officers from the Carmel precinct, the marine police, a police helicopter, volunteer jeep units, and rescue personnel from the Fire and Rescue Services' Lahava unit, with assistance from forces from the Coastal District.

Searches are being carried out simultaneously at sea, in the air, and along the coastline. Lahava unit rescuers are using sonar equipment to try and locate the missing person underwater, alongside sea searches using jet skis and foot patrols on the beach and its surroundings.

As of now, the forces continue their efforts, and no findings have been reported.
