Extensive Search Underway for Diver Missing Off Haifa Beach
Police launched an extensive search operation on Tuesday for a man in his 20s, a resident of Haifa, who entered the sea for a dive at Students Beach in the city and has not been seen since. According to available information, the young man entered the water on Monday afternoon.
Numerous forces are involved in the efforts to locate the missing person, including marine police, an aerial unit helicopter, volunteer jeep units, and additional rescue teams. The fire and rescue services' Lahav unit, along with the Coastal District and Israel Police, have been conducting wide-ranging searches since Monday night.
The search operations are proceeding on multiple fronts simultaneously, utilizing sonar technology, jet ski patrols, and foot searches along the coastline.
