Search Resumes for Diver Missing Off Haifa Coast

Search efforts for a diver who entered the water at Students' Beach in Haifa, Israel, and did not return have been renewed. Volunteers from ZAKA, the Israel Police's Marine Unit, and the Lahava unit are participating in the operation to locate the missing man. A helicopter has also been deployed as part of the ongoing search. As of Friday morning, the diver has not yet been found.

This incident follows a tragedy in April when two brothers drowned at Kiryat Sanz beach in Netanya. One brother was found unconscious by Magen David Adom paramedics, who performed resuscitation efforts before he was evacuated to the hospital. The body of the second brother was recovered days later.
