Extensive Search Underway in Haifa for Missing Diver

Police launched an extensive search operation on Thursday evening for a man in his 20s, a resident of Haifa, who went diving at the city's Students Beach and has not yet resurfaced. The announcement was made by police shortly after 10 p.m., though information indicates the young man entered the water earlier in the afternoon.

Numerous forces are involved in the search efforts, including officers from the Carmel precinct, marine police, an aerial unit helicopter, volunteer jeep units, and additional rescue forces. As of the time of the police announcement, the search operation was ongoing.
