Indictments Filed in Benyahu Razi Murder Case Following Complex Investigation

Indictments are set to be filed this morning in the murder case of Benyahu Razi, who was killed on July 11 in an Airbnb apartment in the Nahalat neighborhood of Jerusalem. Following a complex police investigation, most suspects are expected to be charged with murder, while Linor Sasson is likely to face charges of obstruction of justice and aiding after the fact.

The incident began over the weekend of July 11, when Agam Tzarfati and Shilat Huta rented the Airbnb apartment. On Saturday afternoon, after leaving the apartment, they contacted the brother of Shilat's partner and showed Linor Sasson injuries they claimed were inflicted by Benyahu. This led to a group of seven, including four young men and two women, arming themselves with weapons such as bats, knives, and a hammer, and returning to the apartment with the intent to confront Razi.

During the event, a continuous video call was reportedly maintained, with Agam and Linor watching from a car outside. Linor allegedly communicated with those inside, giving real-time instructions. The four young men brutally attacked Benyahu and his friend Metanya, who was also injured. Metanya attempted to provide emergency aid to Benyahu before medical and police forces arrived. Initially, Metanya was detained but was soon cleared of suspicion.

Linor is accused of facilitating the escape of the suspects, first helping the women flee and later assisting the men. Police arrested six suspects within three hours of the murder, while one suspect, Aviaor Sasson, fled but was later captured in the Harel Tunnel. The investigation involved over 15 individuals connected to the case, relying on testimonies, phone tracking, and video evidence. Authorities noted that the suspects showed little remorse throughout the investigation.

The case now moves forward with the formal submission of indictments, marking a significant step in the pursuit of justice for Benyahu Razi.
