New Footage Reveals Final Moments Before Benyahu Razi's Murder in Jerusalem
New video footage has emerged showing the final hours and moments before Benyahu Razi was murdered in a Jerusalem vacation apartment. The recording captures the arrival of the suspects, the attack on Razi, and their subsequent escape from the scene. Investigators also possess images and videos of Razi and his ex-girlfriend Agam Sarfi entering and leaving the apartment together.
Last week, an indictment was filed at the Jerusalem District Court against Agam Sarfi, 18, Shilat Huta, 20, Mazal Linor Sasson, 46, and four minors whose names are under gag order. According to the indictment, submitted by attorney Shay Atzion from the Jerusalem District Prosecutor's Office, the suspects planned the attack after Sarfi and Huta claimed Razi had been violent toward them.
The indictment details that Sarfi and Razi had a romantic relationship. Sarfi and Huta rented an Airbnb on Shirazli Street in Jerusalem and invited Razi and a friend to spend the weekend. A dispute erupted, leading Sarfi and Huta to leave while Razi and his friend slept. Sarfi and Huta then contacted acquaintances, alleging Razi's violence, and met with Sasson and the four minors at Sasson's home in Neve Yaakov. After hearing their claims, the group decided to attack Razi, arming themselves with knives, a folding baton, a razor blade, and a hammer.
Around 6:30 pm, Sasson drove the group back to the apartment. Sarfi sent threatening messages to Razi en route. Upon arrival, the minors and Huta exited the vehicle while Sarfi and Sasson stayed inside. The group found Razi and his friend near a car and convinced them to return to the apartment to "talk." Inside, the minors confronted Razi, accusing him of assault. Razi denied the accusations, explaining marks on Sarfi's neck were hickeys and showing bite marks on his back allegedly caused by her.
During the confrontation, Huta initiated a video call to Sarfi and Sasson, who watched from the car. After a signal, one minor struck Razi with a baton, and others stabbed him multiple times, including a fatal wound to the heart. Razi collapsed and died. His friend tried to help but was also attacked with a hammer and stabbed.
The attackers fled, covering their faces with shirts. Huta described the apartment as "covered in blood." Sasson helped the suspects evade capture by driving them to different locations. After weeks in hiding, one minor was arrested by Israeli police. The indictment charges the minors, Sarfi, and Huta with intentional murder, aggravated assault, and obstruction of justice. Sasson faces charges of aiding after the fact and obstruction of justice.
