Dramatic Footage Reveals Entry, Escape, and Arrest in Benyahu Razi Murder Case in Jerusalem

Five days after indictments were filed in the murder of Benyahu Razi in Jerusalem, authorities released footage showing the suspects entering the Airbnb apartment, fleeing the scene, discarding evidence, and their dramatic arrest. The indictment, submitted last Friday, charges seven individuals, both minors and adults, including Agam Tzarfati (19) from Jerusalem, Shilat Huta (20) from Beersheba, four minors aged 15 to 17, and Linor Sasson (46) from Jerusalem. The six main suspects face charges of premeditated murder and aggravated assault, while the minors are also charged with illegal possession of a knife and obstruction of justice. Sasson is accused of aiding after the fact and obstructing justice.

According to the indictment, Tzarfati and Razi had a romantic relationship. Days before the murder, Tzarfati and Huta rented the Airbnb apartment in the Nahalat neighborhood and invited Razi and a friend to spend the weekend. A dispute erupted during their stay, and the two women left the apartment the next day, claiming Razi was violent toward them. They later told Sasson and the minors about the incident, prompting the group to plan an attack on Razi and his friend. The minors armed themselves with knives, a folding steel blade, a shank, razors, and a hammer.

During a remand hearing, prosecutors revealed messages Tzarfati sent Razi before the murder, including threats referencing prostitution and warnings about how "prostitutes" behave. After orchestrating the murder plan with Sasson and her son, Aviaor Sasson, the main suspect, Tzarfati incited the group by saying, "They took our phones, punish them." While armed in Tzarfati’s living room, she declared, "I will finish him, he dies today," before Aviaor Sasson fatally stabbed Razi.

Aviaor Sasson was arrested last week after a two-and-a-half-week manhunt. Investigators uncovered that he hid in various locations in central and northern Israel before police apprehended him in the Harel Tunnel while en route to Jerusalem by taxi. The investigation also led to the arrest of a 34-year-old Israel Prison Service officer from Hod Hasharon, suspected of obstructing justice and aiding Sasson’s escape. She allegedly had a romantic relationship with the suspect’s imprisoned brother and collaborated with him to hinder the investigation.

Additionally, the Police Investigations Department questioned a traffic policewoman suspected of obstructing justice and breaching trust. She reportedly met with Sasson and Huta shortly after the murder and allegedly took actions to disrupt the investigation before the suspects’ arrests without reporting to enforcement authorities as required.
