Jerusalem Court Allows Naming Two Suspects in Benyahu Razi Murder Case
The Jerusalem Magistrate's Court has permitted the publication of the names of two of the six suspects involved in the murder of Benyahu Razi. Razi was killed in a brutal stabbing and hammer attack at an Airbnb apartment in the Nachlaot neighborhood of Jerusalem on Saturday night. The two named suspects, Mazal Linor Sasson and Shilat Huta, both 19-year-old Jerusalem residents, are friends of Razi's ex-girlfriend and are suspected of involvement by having invited the attackers to the apartment.
Another suspect, Razi's 19-year-old ex-girlfriend from Pisgat Ze'ev who is serving in the military, remains unnamed due to a court order. Her lawyer stated she has been receiving death threats since the case became public, leading the judge to delay the publication of her name. The remaining suspects include three teenagers allegedly involved in carrying out the murder.
Police believe additional accomplices may have escaped and are seeking to extend the detention of the current suspects to locate them. The investigation continues as authorities work to uncover all those responsible for the crime.
