Two Women Named in Jerusalem Airbnb Murder Investigation of Benyahu Shalom Razi

Israeli authorities have released the names of two women suspected in the murder of Benyahu Shalom Razi at an Airbnb apartment in the Nahalat neighborhood of Jerusalem. The suspects are Mazal Linor Sasson, 50, and Shilat Huta, 19. Both women are believed to have been involved in orchestrating the stabbing attack by inviting the assailants to the apartment. The police suspect that the murder was premeditated and that Huta, who was Razi's former partner, and Sasson played key roles in the plot. Both suspects deny knowledge of the attackers' intent to kill.

During a court hearing to extend their detention, the judge stated there is reasonable suspicion against both women. Huta, who was in a relationship with Razi for about three years, emotionally protested her innocence, saying she would never want harm to come to him. Sasson is also suspected of acting as a liaison between the two women and the attackers. She has a criminal record and was sentenced in September 2024 to 21 months in prison for extortion and operating a high-interest loan scheme with threats against debtors.

The investigation continues as authorities seek to clarify the full circumstances of the murder and the involvement of all parties. The case has drawn attention due to the violent nature of the crime and the backgrounds of the suspects.
