Trap Leads to Murder of Benyahu Razi in Jerusalem Apartment

The indictment in the murder case of Benyahu Razi reveals a disturbing chain of events involving threats, weapons, and a fatal stabbing. On the day of the incident, after a dispute, two young women left the apartment where Razi and another man, M., stayed. The women told a relative they feared Razi due to his alleged violence. Later, at around 4:30 p.m., one of the women sent a threatening message to M., warning them to leave the apartment.

By 6:30 p.m., the women and four minors, armed with a meat tenderizer and clubs, were driven by the mother of one accused to the apartment area. They planned to "finish" Razi, despite warnings from the mother not to act violently. The group confronted Razi and M., luring them back into the apartment under the pretense of talking. Inside, the attackers accused Razi of assaulting one of the women. A video call was made to show the confrontation to one of the women and the mother waiting outside.

The situation escalated violently when Razi denied the accusations and showed bite marks on his back, claiming they were inflicted by one of the women. M. tried to intervene but was attacked with a meat tenderizer and stabbed. Razi was fatally stabbed in the lower left chest, piercing his heart and causing massive bleeding that led to his death. The group fled the scene, some covering their faces.

The indictment charges all present, including the woman who stayed in the car, with intentional murder and severe assault. The minors face additional charges. The mother who drove the group was not charged with the murder but was involved in transporting the suspects. One minor evaded arrest for over two weeks before being caught. Security camera footage partially captured the events. The accused include Linor Sasson, Agam Tzarfati, Shilat, and four minors. Sasson has a prior criminal record including extortion and was sentenced to 21 months in prison.

The case highlights a tragic outcome of a relationship marked by violence and threats, culminating in a premeditated attack that ended in murder in the Nahalat neighborhood of Jerusalem.
