Indictments Filed Against Seven in Jerusalem Murder of Benyahu Razi

On Friday, indictments were filed against seven individuals involved in the murder of Benyahu Razi in the Nahalat neighborhood of Jerusalem. The main suspect, Aviaor Sasson, faces a separate indictment, while three minors and Linor Sasson, his mother, are charged with manslaughter. Another indictment will be filed against Agam Tzarfati and Shilat Huta, who are also expected to be charged with manslaughter.

The suspects' detention was extended on Tuesday following a court hearing where messages sent by Agam Tzarfati, Razi's partner, to a friend before the murder were presented. These messages alleged that Razi threatened her with rape, violence against her family, and physical assault. The police sought to extend the suspects' detention by four days until the indictments were submitted.

Earlier, communications between some suspects were revealed, including a message from Tzarfati stating, "I will finish him. He dies today." Evidence presented included messages between Tzarfati and Shilat Huta, the partner of a friend of Razi, who is suspected of ordering the murder and being present at the scene. Police found Razi's blood on Huta's phone, and she reportedly sent threatening messages to her partner and waited at the apartment for the murderers.

Aviaor Sasson's mother is suspected of involvement and aiding her son's escape. During the hearing, police stated she threatened other suspects to remain silent and instructed them not to speak during the investigation. Additionally, another suspect involved in mediating the murder was arrested, and detention was extended for a further suspect in the case.
