IDF Says It Struck 310 Hezbollah Targets and Detained Over 50 Suspects in the West Bank

The Israel Defense Forces said on Thursday that, over the past week, it carried out activity in three arenas: Lebanon, Gaza and the West Bank. According to the military, the air force struck about 310 Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon, more than 20 militants were killed in Gaza, and over 50 wanted Palestinians were arrested in Judea and Samaria.

In the Northern Command, the air force, guided by troops on the ground, hit the Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon. The IDF said about 80 militants were killed during the strikes and ground operations there, while forces continued working to destroy terror infrastructure and remove threats along the forward defense line.

In the Southern Command, the main effort remained focused on locating and destroying underground infrastructure, especially around Khan Yunis. More than 20 militants were killed during the week, including three senior operatives in Palestinian Islamic Jihad, as well as the head of a Hamas money-transfer network and his deputy.

In the Central Command, troops conducted dozens of operations across Judea and Samaria and detained more than 50 wanted suspects, among them people accused of incitement, advancing terror activity, and possessing or trafficking weapons. The military also said it seized about 250,000 shekels allegedly intended for terror purposes, along with a weapons-manufacturing lathe, a drone, combat gear, ammunition, and more than 10 pistols and improvised Carlo-type firearms. The IDF added that it is also continuing efforts to stop smuggling and strengthen defenses along the eastern and western borders.
