The Israel Defense Forces on Friday released its weekly operational summary, saying it continued to act in three arenas at once to remove threats to Israeli civilians. The military said its main effort over the past week was in southern Lebanon, where Air Force aircraft and ground forces, guided by ground troops, struck about 310 Hezbollah targets and killed roughly 80 Hezbollah operatives.

The IDF said ground forces also kept operating along the forward defensive line in Lebanon, carrying out focused actions to destroy Hezbollah infrastructure and neutralize immediate threats. In Gaza, Southern Command focused on a systematic engineering and intelligence effort to locate and destroy Hamas underground routes, especially in the Khan Younis area.

According to the IDF, more than 20 militants were killed in Gaza during the week, including five high-value targets. Among them were three senior operatives in Palestinian Islamic Jihad, as well as the head of Hamas’s money-transfer network and his deputy, a blow the military said hit the group’s financing channels hard.

In the West Bank, Central Command carried out dozens of offensive operations that led to the arrest of more than 50 wanted suspects. Those detained included people accused of incitement to terror, suspects who planned or carried out attacks, and others involved in weapons dealing or possession. The raids also yielded about 250,000 shekels in cash, a lathe used to manufacture weapons, a drone, military equipment, ammunition, and more than 10 pistols and improvised “Carlo” guns. The IDF also said it continued operations along Israel’s eastern and western borders to strengthen defenses and stop weapons smuggling into the country.
