IDF Destroys Hamas Weapons Depots in Gaza, Kills Hezbollah Militants in Lebanon Clash
During the night of Saturday, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), guided by the Shin Bet, conducted multiple strikes across the Gaza Strip targeting five weapons depots belonging to the terrorist organization Hamas. These depots contained Kalashnikov rifles, explosives, anti-tank launchers, ammunition, and other military equipment. One depot near the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah was also used as a shelter by Hamas militants, illustrating the group's systematic use of civilian infrastructure, including medical facilities, to advance terrorist activities. The destroyed weapons were intended for attacks against IDF forces operating near the security fence and Israeli civilians, and their elimination aims to neutralize this threat.
In a separate incident on the Lebanese front, IDF forces identified several Hezbollah militants in the Ali Taher ridge area within the security zone. Following the identification, the forces engaged and killed the militants to remove the threat. During the encounter, an IDF combat officer sustained moderate injuries and was evacuated to a hospital for treatment; his family has been informed.
