IDF Destroys Five Hamas Weapons Warehouses Near Gaza Hospital in Precision Strikes

On Saturday night, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and the Shin Bet conducted precise strikes across the Gaza Strip, destroying five weapons warehouses belonging to the terrorist organization Hamas. These warehouses contained assault rifles, explosives, anti-tank launchers, ammunition, and other military equipment intended for terrorist attacks against IDF forces and Israeli civilians. One of the targeted warehouses was located near the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in the Deir al-Balah area, illustrating Hamas's systematic use of civilian infrastructure, including medical facilities, to conceal and advance its terror activities.

The strikes come amid the unveiling of the full roadmap for implementing the Trump administration's plan in Gaza, which outlines a gradual disarmament of Hamas. The IDF Southern Command continues to operate in the area under this framework to neutralize threats against Israeli forces and citizens. This operation follows last week's elimination of "the terrorist doctor" Abd al-Rahim Khardi, who was involved in holding Israeli hostages and operated from the Shifa Hospital, further exemplifying Hamas's exploitation of medical institutions for terrorism.

According to the IDF spokesperson, the destroyed weapons were intended for terrorist operations against IDF troops along the "yellow line" and Israeli civilians. The precision strikes aim to remove these threats and prevent the use of such arms. These military actions are taking place alongside ongoing diplomatic efforts, including an upcoming quadrilateral meeting in Cairo involving Egypt, Qatar, the United States, and Turkey. American envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner are expected to arrive soon, with hopes pinned on increased direct involvement and pressure from U.S. President Donald Trump. The IDF reaffirmed its commitment to continue operations to eliminate threats while safeguarding Israeli civilians.
