IDF Destroys Hamas Weapons Warehouses in Gaza Strip Overnight Strikes
Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) and the Shin Bet conducted multiple strikes overnight from Thursday to Friday across various locations in the Gaza Strip, targeting and destroying Hamas terror infrastructure. The operations included the demolition of weapons warehouses, manufacturing facilities, and underground infrastructure used by Hamas. The destroyed stockpiles contained Kalashnikov rifles, RPGs, mortar shells, explosives, and other combat equipment.
The IDF stated that these weapons were intended to harm Israeli forces operating near the Gaza border and Israeli civilians, and their destruction aims to eliminate this threat. Following the strikes, secondary explosions were detected, confirming the presence of munitions within the targeted sites. The IDF spokesperson emphasized that Hamas continues to systematically and flagrantly violate the ceasefire agreement while attempting to rebuild its military capabilities and infrastructure.
The Southern Command of the IDF remains deployed in the area in accordance with the ceasefire agreement and will continue operations to neutralize any threats posed by Hamas. The military released footage documenting the strikes as part of their ongoing campaign against terror infrastructure in Gaza.
