IDF Destroys Hamas Weapons Warehouses in Northern Gaza Airstrikes

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and Shin Bet announced the destruction of two Hamas weapons warehouses in the northern Gaza Strip, specifically in the Shati and Deir al-Balah areas. These warehouses contained dozens of Kalashnikov rifles, magazines, and other military equipment. According to the IDF and Shin Bet, the weapons were stored inside two mosques, which were allegedly used as shelters by Hamas militants.

The airstrikes were carried out with precision munitions and aerial surveillance after advance warnings were issued to local residents to minimize civilian casualties. The IDF and Shin Bet emphasized that this operation exemplifies Hamas's systematic use of civilian infrastructure, including mosques, to facilitate terrorist activities against Israeli forces and civilians.

The IDF Southern Command forces remain deployed in the area in accordance with existing agreements and will continue operations to neutralize immediate threats. This action is part of ongoing efforts to prevent attacks on Israeli soldiers and citizens near the Gaza border.
