At the same time, in cooperation with the Air Force, more than 20 terrorists who were working to advance various terror plots and posed a threat to the forces operating in the area were eliminated.
The IDF said the activity was intended to damage the organization’s operational capabilities and reduce the threats facing the forces.
As noted, in recent years explosive drones have become a significant strategic threat on the northern front, with the Hezbollah terror organization using them for precise attacks against our forces in Lebanon and border-adjacent communities. Following casualties, emergency solutions are being promoted, including protective nets, navigation jamming and interception by explosion.
