IDF Reports Week of Strikes in Lebanon, Gaza Operations, and West Bank Arrests

The Israel Defense Forces said it carried out widespread operations over the past week in three arenas, aimed at removing threats to Israeli civilians. The activity focused on the Northern Command, Southern Command, and Central Command, while efforts also continued to prevent smuggling and strengthen defense along Israel’s eastern and western borders.

In southern Lebanon, the Air Force, guided by ground forces, struck about 310 Hezbollah targets during the week. The IDF said roughly 80 militants were killed in those attacks. Ground troops were also operating on the forward defensive line to destroy terror infrastructure and eliminate threats to Israeli civilians and soldiers in the area.

In the Gaza Strip, the Southern Command continued systematic excavation efforts to find and destroy underground routes, with a focus on the Khan Younis area. More than 20 militants were killed there, including three senior operatives in Palestinian Islamic Jihad, as well as the head of a Hamas money-transfer network and his deputy.

In the West Bank, the Central Command said dozens of offensive operations led to the arrest of more than 50 wanted suspects. Among them were people accused of incitement, advancing terror activity, and possession or trafficking of weapons. Forces also seized about 250,000 shekels intended for terror, a lathe used to manufacture weapons, a drone, combat gear, ammunition, and more than 10 pistols and improvised Carlo-style guns.
