Benyahu Malat Killed in West Bank Attack Laid to Rest in Givat Gilad Cemetery
Benyahu Malat, 32, was buried on Friday at the Givat Gilad cemetery hours after being fatally shot in a severe shooting attack in the West Bank. Malat, a member of the local security team and responsible for agriculture in the settlement, had rushed to assist a group of hikers who were attacked by terrorists in the area. During the rescue and defense efforts, he was shot and killed at the scene. He is survived by his wife Esther and their two daughters, aged 12 and 13, along with many family members and loved ones.
