Extensive Search Continues for Missing 4-Year-Old Yuval Kogan in Ashkelon
Security cameras captured 4-year-old Yuval Kogan with his father and sisters on the day he disappeared near Hof Hofit beach in Ashkelon. This footage is the last known visual record of Yuval before he went missing.
A large-scale search operation is ongoing, involving police forces from the air, sea, and land. Overnight drone scans were conducted, and this morning, extensive ground and aerial patrols continue to comb the area, but no leads have emerged so far. The Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) has joined the search efforts alongside southern district police, the aerial unit, maritime police, police volunteer divers, and other emergency responders.
Yuval's mother, Dina Kogan, expressed deep concern in an interview with N12, fearing her son may have been abducted. She appealed to the public for help, saying, "These are critical hours, I need the whole country. I beg you - please help me." The Israel Police described Yuval as slim, with brown hair, wearing a green shirt, and urged anyone with information to contact the police hotline or Ashkelon police station immediately.
