Israeli Police Conduct Extensive Search for Missing 4-Year-Old Boy in Ashkelon Beach Area

Israeli police are conducting a large-scale search for 4-year-old Yuval Kogen, who was last seen around 1:00 PM on Thursday near Hof Hofit beach in Ashkelon. The boy apparently went missing while on a walk with his father. After more than six hours of searching, authorities are preparing to continue the search through the night.

The search operation involves multiple units including the Israel Police, aerial and marine patrols, volunteer divers, and other emergency responders. They are conducting thorough scans from the air, sea, and land along the coastal area and its surroundings to locate the child and ensure his safety.

Police have asked the public to remain vigilant and report any information about Yuval’s whereabouts by calling the police emergency number or the Ashkelon police station. The boy is described as slim, with brown hair, and wearing a green shirt.

Ashkelon Mayor Tomer Glam visited the search site and stated that the municipal rescue unit, along with city enforcement teams and police, are conducting intensive searches. He urged anyone with information to contact the police immediately and expressed hope for a positive outcome and the boy’s safe return to his family.

The search remains ongoing as authorities continue their efforts to find Yuval Kogen.
