Israeli Police Continue Night Search for Missing 4-Year-Old Yuval Kogen in Ashkelon

Israeli police and rescue teams are conducting an extensive search operation for 4-year-old Yuval Kogen, who disappeared near Hof Hofit beach in Ashkelon. The search continues through the night, with authorities employing advanced technological tools due to darkness, alongside ongoing ground searches. Hundreds of officers, rescue personnel, air units, volunteers, and emergency services are involved in the effort.

Investigations into the circumstances of Yuval's disappearance are also underway. Police have collected testimonies and are cross-referencing evidence. According to reports, Yuval was last seen with his father and two sisters, aged 8 and 10, in the dunes between the cliff and the beach. The area is characterized by cliffs, dunes, an unmonitored beach without lifeguards, and breakwaters.

Southern District Commander Chief Superintendent Haim Bublil held a special briefing at the search site, instructing to intensify search efforts throughout the night and to utilize all available police resources until Yuval is found. Police urge the public to avoid the search area to allow emergency teams to operate effectively and request anyone with information to contact the Israeli Police emergency number or Ashkelon police station.
