Israeli Police Conduct Overnight Search for Missing 4-Year-Old Boy in Ashkelon Beach Area

Israeli police and volunteers have been searching since Thursday morning for four-year-old Yuval Kogen, who went missing near Hof Hofit beach in Ashkelon. The search operation has extended into the night, involving hundreds of officers, rescue teams, and advanced technological resources deployed on land, sea, and air. Yuval was last seen wearing a green shirt, with a slim build and brown hair.

Upon receiving the report, police dispatched helicopters, the maritime police unit, divers, and the city rescue unit to assist in the search. The efforts focus on the coastal strip and surrounding areas. Southern District Police Commander Chief Superintendent Haim Bublil held an on-site briefing with force commanders and rescue officials, ordering the search to continue through the night using all available police resources.

Ashkelon Mayor Tomer Glam visited the scene, noting that municipal patrol and enforcement teams are cooperating with the police.
