Israeli Winger Anan Khalaily Shares First Message After Failed Inter Milan Transfer

Israeli winger Anan Khalaily posted his first public message following the collapse of his transfer to Inter Milan. The deal, which was set to move Khalaily to the Italian champions for 25 million euros, fell through after medical tests failed to receive approval from the Italian Olympic Committee. Khalaily shared a supportive post originally published by his close friend Iyad Tanous, who expressed encouragement amid the recent developments.

Tanous wrote that although he never believed in the evil eye, the recent events made him reconsider. He called Khalaily not only a dear friend but "our brother and true hero," emphasizing Khalaily's resilience by saying, "You are like a mountain; no wind can move you." He wished Khalaily strength and protection and urged him to continue uplifting those around him. The message included a Quranic verse: "And perhaps you hate a thing and it is good for you."
