IDF Reports Over 100 Israeli Rioters Attacked Forces, Burned Palestinian Homes

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced Tuesday morning that its soldiers, along with Border Police (Magav) forces, operated overnight near the Palestinian village of Jallud in the Samaria region to disperse Israeli rioters and protect villagers. The operation aimed to facilitate the return of a Palestinian family to their home, which they had abandoned following previous nationalist crime incidents against them. However, the IDF stated that due to the violence, the family's return was not completed.

According to the IDF, over 100 Israeli rioters were present in the village, blocking roads, setting tires ablaze, and throwing stones at security forces. The rioters also reportedly burned Palestinian structures, set fire to vehicles, and damaged other property. Three Border Police officers sustained light injuries during the confrontations, and a security forces vehicle was damaged.

The IDF reported that its forces used crowd dispersal methods to break up the gathering and arrested two suspects, who were handed over to the Judea and Samaria District Police for investigation. Forensic investigators will later enter the scene under IDF security to collect evidence and take testimonies.

The military emphasized that such incidents divert attention, undermine stability, and harm the security forces' defensive and counter-terrorism operations.
