IDF and Border Police Disperse Israeli Rioters in Palestinian Village

Israeli military and Border Police forces operated overnight in the Palestinian village of Jalud, near the Samaria Brigade area, to disperse Israeli rioters and protect the village residents. The operation was conducted during the coordinated return of a Palestinian family to their home in the village, which they had abandoned following several nationalist crime incidents against them. The family's return was not completed due to the violence.

Over 100 Israeli rioters were present in the village, blocking roads, setting tires ablaze, and throwing stones at security forces. The rioters also set fire to Palestinian structures, vehicles, and other property within the village.

As a result of the clashes, three Border Police officers sustained light injuries, and damage was caused to a security forces vehicle. Forces used crowd dispersal methods to break up the gathering and arrested two suspects, who were transferred for investigation by the Judea and Samaria Police. Forensic investigators will later enter the scene, secured by the IDF, to collect evidence and gather testimonies for the ongoing investigation.

The security establishment strongly condemned any harm to security personnel during their duties, acts of vandalism, and property damage. It stated that such events divert attention, undermine stability, and harm the defense and counter-terrorism operations of the security forces.
