IDF Reports Over 100 Israelis Attacked Security Forces, Burned Palestinian Homes

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced Tuesday that over 100 Israeli rioters attacked security forces and set fire to Palestinian homes in the village of Jalud in the Samaria region overnight. The violence occurred while security forces were escorting a Palestinian family back to their home, which they had abandoned following previous nationalist crime incidents against them. The IDF stated that the mission to return the family was not completed due to the escalating violence.

According to the IDF, the rioters blocked roads, set tires ablaze, and threw stones at security personnel. They also burned Palestinian structures, vehicles, and other property. Three Border Police officers sustained minor injuries, and a security forces vehicle was damaged during the clashes.

Security forces dispersed the rioters using crowd control measures and arrested two suspects, who were handed over to the Judea and Samaria District Police for investigation. Forensic investigators will examine the scene to collect evidence and testimonies. The IDF emphasized that such incidents divert attention, undermine stability, and hinder the security forces' defensive and counter-terrorism operations.
