IDF and Border Police Intervene After Israeli Rioters Stone Palestinian Village, Woman Injured

On August 29, 2026, Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) and Border Police forces responded to violent clashes in the Palestinian village of Kausara following reports of Israeli rioters throwing stones at Palestinians and other civilians. The rioters barricaded themselves inside a Palestinian home where residents were present. Several Palestinians were injured during the incident, including a woman who sustained non-critical injuries and was evacuated by the Red Crescent for medical treatment.

The rioters, described as masked individuals dressed in black arriving in white Toyota vehicles, were seen in footage from the scene. The IDF reported that no arrests were made during the operation, but the vehicles used by the rioters were confiscated and transferred to the Judea and Samaria police district for investigation, along with other evidence.

The IDF emphasized that their forces worked to remove the rioters from the house and separate them from the residents. Security forces continue to operate in the villages of Kausara and Jalud to prevent further disturbances and restore order in the area.
