IDF Reports Dozens of Israelis Barricaded in Palestinian Home in West Bank Clash

Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) and Border Police were deployed to the West Bank village of Kusra on Saturday following reports of violent clashes and stone-throwing incidents. According to security forces, dozens of Israelis had barricaded themselves inside a Palestinian home where several Palestinians were present, some of whom were injured during the confrontation. One Palestinian woman was moderately wounded and received medical treatment from the Red Crescent.

The security forces acted to remove the Israelis from the house and separate the parties to protect the Palestinian residents. Vehicles used by the Israelis to reach the village were confiscated and handed over to the Israeli police for investigation. The police have opened a probe into the incident, and the IDF and Border Police continue operations in Kusra and the nearby village of Jalud to prevent further disturbances and restore order.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu condemned the violence, describing the perpetrators as a "small group of rioters" who cause significant harm to law-abiding settlers and disrupt the IDF's mission. He praised the swift response of security forces, who confiscated three vehicles and quickly ended the incident. Netanyahu called for the immediate arrest and prosecution of those responsible, emphasizing that this group does not represent the broader settler community.
