IDF Eliminates Hamas Operatives in Gaza Operations
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced the elimination of two Hamas operatives in separate operations in the central and southern Gaza Strip. In the Nusairat area, the IDF targeted and killed Abraham Fuzi Ismail Muhsen, identified as a platoon commander in Hamas's elite Nukhba unit. The following day, in Khan Younis, a second strike eliminated Muhammad Kamel Suleiman Muhsen, another militant from Hamas's military wing.
According to the Israeli military, both individuals were actively involved in planning terrorist attacks against Israeli soldiers and civilians. They were also reportedly working to restore the organization's operational capabilities, in violation of ceasefire agreements. The IDF stated that these operations were conducted to neutralize immediate security threats to the state.
Forces from the Southern Command will maintain their positions in the region under existing agreements. The military affirmed its commitment to preventing any attempts to destabilize the situation and to eliminate emerging threats.
