Israel Eliminates Hamas Operatives Involved in Terror Financing and Operations
The Israeli military has conducted targeted airstrikes in Gaza, eliminating two Hamas operatives involved in terror financing and military activities. In Deir al-Balah, Jaber Makbel, a senior Hamas military wing operative, was killed. Makbel headed an exchange network that funneled millions of shekels in foreign funds to Hamas, directly financing terrorists, rebuilding military infrastructure, and planning attacks against Israeli forces.
In Khan Younis, Hassan Albata, a sniper in the Hamas military wing, was also eliminated in a separate airstrike. The IDF stated that both operatives were recently engaged in advancing terror activities against Israeli soldiers and civilians and actively worked to restore Hamas's military capabilities in the area.
These strikes are part of Israel's ongoing efforts to pressure Hamas and degrade its financing and military capabilities within the Gaza Strip. The military emphasized that the eliminated individuals systematically violated the ceasefire and promoted terror plots.
