Teen Dies After Drowning Off Ashkelon Beach, Two Others Injured
A 17-year-old boy drowned off the coast of Ashkelon on Friday after entering the sea with two other individuals. Medical services confirmed his death on Saturday morning, following extensive searches that began the previous day.
During the incident, two other people were injured. A 24-year-old man was pulled from the water unconscious and transported in serious condition to Barzilai Hospital. Another 17-year-old was evacuated with minor injuries.
When the third teenager failed to emerge from the water, police and rescue forces launched a search operation along the coastline and in the sea.
